No offense but Brooke offers limited info and not very helpful advice. She doesn’t break things down the way Dr.Moree does, nor does she recommend things through a holistic approach. She doesn’t even soak the chia seeds she says to “just throw into your smoothie!” She just tosses DRY chia seeds into a greens based smoothie. That type of harm that comes from trying to digest dried chia, that will then try to bloom in your digestive system, can cause blockages, pain, further digestive issues and colon problems to those already dealing with constipation or impaction.

Chia & Basil seeds need to be soaked in filtered water and made into a mucilage before using in a smoothie so the soluble fiber has bioavailability and can be properly absorbed and used by the digestive system, safely.
